Campaigns

The WI runs many campaigns fighting for causes that the members nominate and vote for. These are called Resolutions. Some of our meetings dedicate time to discuss these campaigns and how we can support them in Caton. You can find out more about past and present campaigns here.

In Caton, we consider how to make an impact on our community through using our own skills. Our members have supported fundraising events by providing refreshments and education events by giving sewing advice. We support the Caton Gala and the craft group have made items for local charities. The current village lunch club was started by one of our much-missed members as a response to the national campaign Link Together to Alleviate Loneliness. If you have an idea you would like us to support, let someone on the committee know.
