The WI is the largest women's organisation in the UK and prides itself on being a trusted place for women of all generations to share experiences and learn from each other. Part of your membership fee goes towards the National Federation. It pays for the running of the organisation, national campaigns and the magazine sent to all members called WI Life. There is also a centrally run NWFI website and, for members only, My WI, which is becoming more and more useful as a learning resource. Historically, the WI owned a central training college called Denman College. This has now been sold and part of the profits are being reinvested into developing more online courses available free to members. Visit the NFWI website for more information.
