About Us

Aughton Women's Institute was formed in 1925

It is a progressive group of 54 members who enjoy fun, friendship and sharing.

We welcome new members and visitors to join us at our evening meetings.  We have a different  speaker each month who cover a vast range of subjects.

The group has many activities, regular outings and events which offer information, learning and more importantly - FUN!

We meet every third Tuesday evening at 7.30pm at The Hut on Town Green Lane in Aughton . 

If you would like to come and see what we do at our meetings, please come along and you will receive a warm welcome and refreshments.

This year we had the interior repainted in cream and brown which gave a lighter and brighter look.  New curtains were hung and a new carpet donated by ORMSKIRK CARPET CENTRE perfectly completed the new look
